The MonitApp can run as schedule task to periodically visit each computer listed in excel Host Lists sheet for:

  • get actual values

  • compare values on XXXXX-histo sheets
  • Make changes in those sheets

When you press button  Schedule Task  in main Toolbar the MonitApp present to you a panel to see what MonitApp schedule task are active, remove some of them and add new ones.
  • If you want to remove some task just select them (use Ctr + left mouse button to select more than one) and then press  Remove  button
  • Use  New  Button in this panel to configure a new Task
You can create new tasks to run daily, weekly or monthly at a given time.
    • For daily tasks you only need to choose the time of day
    • For weekly task you must select the week days and time of day. You may want to create more than one task if for example you need to run some of them at a given time an other at a different time
    • Monthly task can be configured to run at some given days of month or at some given days of week. If you specify more than one day (of week or month) one task is created for each day, but all tasks (a subset) will run at same our. As for weekly task you may want to create more than one subset of task to run at different times
We strongly recommend creating more than one task for the same day to avoid incomplete scanning due to disconnected/power down computers at that time. If you want to have several tasks in the same day running at different hours:minutes you need to create one task for each hour:minute
  • Press Add button to create the task(s). You need to introduce the username and correspondent password under what you want to run this/these task/tasks. Be carefully when you type password because MonitApp won't check if password is right or wrong.
